My Therapeutic Approach
My style is collaborative, conversational, and direct. I believe meaningful change happens when we combine a safe, supportive space with the willingness to be challenged. Together, we’ll explore how your past shapes your present, address the patterns and emotions showing up in your life now, and develop practical coping skills to help you move forward. Drawing on my training in EMDR and the Gottman Method for couples, I tailor each session to your unique needs—helping you gain insight, heal from past wounds, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you are.
About Me
I’m Alexandra Vavoulis, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor passionate about helping people build stronger relationships—with themselves and with others. I work with individuals and couples who want to better understand themselves, navigate challenges with more confidence, and create healthier, more fulfilling lives. My goal is to make therapy a place where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to make changes that matter. When I’m not in session, you’ll often find me enjoying time with loved ones, exploring new experiences, and finding moments to breathe and recharge.

My Therapeutic Approach
I specialize in anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges, and I offer a warm, collaborative space where we can go deep without feeling overwhelmed. I use evidence-based approaches like EMDR and trauma-informed CBT to help you heal from what’s holding you back—not just manage the symptoms, but actually work through the root causes.
Therapy with me is about getting to know yourself on a deeper level. It’s about breaking cycles, building boundaries, and creating the kind of relationships (with yourself and others) that feel safe, secure, and true to who you are. If you’re ready to do the work, I’m here to guide you through it—at your pace, in your way.

My style is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I believe that therapy works best when it balances emotional exploration with actionable tools. My Therapeutic Approach
I take an integrative and personalized approach to therapy because I believe every individual’s experiences and needs are unique. About Me
Hi,I’m Maggie Groeschke, MSW, Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, and I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. My goal is to help you feel understood, empowered, and genuinely supported as we work through the challenges that may be impacting your life and wellbeing.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work fromFordham University and work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, chronic illness, self-esteem challenges, and the emotional stress that can come with everyday life.
I value building authentic therapeutic relationships and creating an environment where clients feel comfortable opening up at their own pace. I see therapy as a collaborative process, and I strive to help clients build resilience, deepen self-understanding, strengthen coping skills, and move through life with greater confidence and self-compassion.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Specialties:
• Addiction
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Bipolar
• Personality Disorders
• Life transitions and personal growth
My Therapeutic Approach
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and down to earth. My approach is rooted in honesty, empowerment, and individuality. Rather than focusing on the problem, I try to help client build a life that is meaningful and rewarding. I believe that the best way to combat negative symptoms is through “aggressive positive action.” While I draw from existential therapy, reality therapy, MI, and CBT, my style is flexible and tailored to the person I am working with. I am also certified to do EMDR. Just as I dont expect any client to fit neatly into a box, I do not like to do so with my therapeutic approach either.
About Me
I’m a LMHC with experience working in the addiction/mental health field in various settings in NY, NJ, WA, MA, and now FL. I am also in long-term recovery from opioid addiction. I try to blend clinical experience with my own lived experience as someone in recovery who has dealt with co-occurring disorders as a young adult so that I am compassionate but solution-focused. I am a therapist who will meet you where you are at while simultaneously challenging you to grow.

My Therapeutic Approach
My work is grounded in a strengths-based approach, integrating evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s needs and goals. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and I incorporate mindfulness-based and insight-oriented techniques to increase self-awareness and emotional regulation. I also have additional training in Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) for the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), which targets the thought processes behind obsessive doubt instead of focusing on exposure-based techniques. I strive to create a welcoming, supportive space where you can show up as yourself and talk about real life. My style is collaborative and flexible, allowing therapy to adapt as your needs and goals evolve.

Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Specialties:
• Stress Management
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Relationship Challenges
• Personality Disorders
• Life transitions and personal growth
My Therapeutic Approach
My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we'll explore the patterns, experiences, and challenges that have shaped you while making space for growth, healing, and self-discovery. Rather than focusing on what's "wrong" with you, I aim to help you better understand yourself and the factors influencing your thoughts, emotions, and relationships.
One phrase that guides my work is empowerment through awareness. I believe that greater self-awareness should lead to compassion, choice, and empowerment—not shame or self-judgment. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, respected, and encouraged to move toward the life that feels most authentic to you.
About Me
Hi, I'm Aly and I am grateful to walk alongside you on your therapeutic journey. I believe that therapy should feel like a conversation with a skilled professional who is genuinely curious about your experience—not a place where you're reduced to a diagnosis, a symptom, or a treatment plan. Every person brings a unique story into the room, and because of that, I don't believe in forcing clients into a single therapeutic framework or viewing their struggles through one particular lens.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll likely find me trying a new recipe in the kitchen, spending time outdoors, dancing, attending a live music show, or gathering friends for a fun game night. I value connection, curiosity, and finding joy in the everyday moments of life, and I strive to bring that same warmth and authenticity into the therapy space.
