What therapy with me actually looks like
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe that healing begins with feeling safe, understood, and supported, especially when you're working through experiences that may have shaped the way you see yourself and your relationships.
I particularly enjoy working with young adults who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, and relationship difficulties. I also work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including domestic violence, and are looking to regain a sense of safety and confidence.
As both a therapist and a fitness instructor and personal trainer, I understand the importance of the mind-body connection and how our mental and physical well-being influence one another. This perspective allows me to approach therapy with a more holistic understanding of wellness, recognizing that taking care of yourself goes beyond just your thoughts and emotions.
Together, we'll explore how your past experiences may be influencing your thoughts, emotions, and relationships today. We'll work toward understanding patterns that no longer serve you, building healthier coping strategies, and strengthening your relationship with yourself.
I incorporate trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR, to support you in processing difficult experiences at a pace that feels right for you.
My goal is to help you feel more empowered, connected to yourself, and confident as you navigate the next chapter of your life.

Get to know me beyond the therapy room
Outside of the therapy room, Iβm usually spending time with my family, going for a walk, or finding some way to move my body. Whether itβs a workout, getting outside, or simply enjoying the little moments with the people I love, I believe in making time for the things that help us feel grounded, connected, and like ourselves.
My favorite way to recharge isβ¦
Spending quality time with my family, going for a walk, or getting in a good workout. Moving my body and spending time with the people I love are two of my favorite ways to reset and recharge.
Something I wish more people knew about therapy isβ¦
That therapy really isnβt as scary or intimidating as it might seem! You donβt have to be in crisis, have experienced something traumatic, or even have a specific problem to work through. Therapy can simply be a space to get to know yourself better, understand your patterns, navigate everyday challenges, and grow into the person you want to be. You donβt have to wait until things feel overwhelming to start.
If I could give everyone one piece of advice, it would beβ¦
Listen to yourself and trust yourself. We spend so much time looking outside of ourselves for answers, reassurance, and validation that we sometimes forget how much we already know. Learning to tune into your own needs, feelings, and intuitionβand trusting yourself enough to act on themβis one of the most valuable things you can do for yourself
