Therapy that fits your needs - not just your insurance plan.
Finding the right therapist matters. At Anasa Counseling, we want the financial side of starting therapy to feel clear and straightforward, so you can focus on finding someone you genuinely connect with.
We offer self-pay therapy, out-of-network options, and in-network care with select insurance plans, depending on the clinician.
Our clinicians specialize in areas including anxiety, relationships and dating, life transitions, trauma, OCD, self-esteem, boundaries, disordered eating and more.
Session fees vary by clinician and range from $120–$180 per 50–60 minute session.
Your therapist’s exact fee will always be discussed with you before scheduling your first appointment.
Select Anasa clinicians offer a limited number of reduced-fee or sliding-scale appointments based on availability. If cost is a concern, let us know when you reach out. We’re happy to see whether one of these openings may be a good fit.
We can also provide documentation upon request if needed for reimbursement.
Even if an Anasa therapist is not in network with your insurance, your plan may include out-of-network mental health benefits that reimburse you for a portion of your therapy costs.
Depending on your plan, you may be able to receive reimbursement after meeting your out-of-network deductible.
Our team can help you understand your options and provide the documentation needed to submit for reimbursement.
Using Out-of-Network Benefits
Some Anasa clinicians are in network with select insurance plans, including:
Aetna
Cigna
UnitedHealthcare / Optum
Oxford
Oscar
Insurance participation varies by clinician, and coverage depends on your individual plan. We recommend confirming your mental health benefits before beginning services.

Why Choose Self-Pay Therapy
Insurance can be helpful, but it doesn’t always give you the freedom to choose the therapist who feels like the best fit.
With self-pay therapy, you can prioritize what actually matters: finding a therapist you feel comfortable with, who understands what you’re going through and specializes in the areas you want to work on.
You also aren’t limited to therapists who participate with your specific insurance plan.
For many of our clients, that flexibility makes finding the right therapeutic relationship much easier.
Not Sure Which Therapist Is Right for You?
You don’t have to figure it out on your own.
Tell us a little about what you’re looking for, your scheduling preferences, and whether you’d like to use insurance or self-pay. Our team will help match you with the Anasa therapist who feels like the best fit.
