Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Helping teens and young women navigate high-functioning anxiety, OCD, relationships, and life's transitions with more confidence and less self-doubt.
You Might be a good fit with Lia if...
β‘You're the person who seems to have everything together, but internally you're constantly overthinking.
β‘ You replay conversations in your head, second-guess your decisions, or worry about things that haven't happened yet.
β‘ You struggle with obsessive thoughts, doubts, or compulsive behaviors that are difficult to move past.
β‘ You're navigating college, your first job, or another major transition into adulthood.
β‘ You're experiencing relationship challenges and find yourself questioning what you want or deserve.
β‘ You put pressure on yourself to succeed and have a hard time feeling satisfied with your accomplishments.
β‘ You're looking for a therapist who is warm and approachable but will also help you develop practical tools to manage your thoughts and emotions.
What therapy with me actually looks like
My approach to therapy is warm, conversational, and solution-focused. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while also learning practical strategies to manage the challenges you're experiencing.
I'm especially passionate about supporting teen girls & women who struggle with high-functioning anxiety, OCD, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
You might be someone who appears confident and successful on the outside but internally struggles with constant worry, self-doubt, or the pressure to have everything figured out.
Together, we'll explore the thoughts and patterns contributing to your anxiety while building strategies that help you feel more confident and in control.
I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), along with my additional training in Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) for OCD, to help clients understand and change unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior.
My goal is to help you spend less time questioning yourself and more time feeling confident, present, and connected to the life you're building.

My favorite way to recharge isβ¦
Watching TV in bed with sushi, typically watching a sitcom.
Something I wish more people knew about therapy isβ¦
That it's not as intimidating as it seems & can sometimes be fun when there's a strong therapeutic alliance.
If I could give everyone one piece of advice, it would beβ¦
To be present and slow down. Time is precious so its important to be intentional.
