What therapy with me actually looks like

My approach to therapy is warm, conversational, and insight-oriented. I believe that meaningful change begins with developing a deeper understanding of yourself and the experiences that have shaped you.

I especially enjoy working with motivated, curious individuals who want to understand why they keep finding themselves in the same patterns, whether in relationships, their careers, or the way they see themselves.

Many of the clients I connect with are high achievers who have spent years meeting expectations but are beginning to question whether those expectations truly reflect who they are.

Together, we'll explore how past experiences, family dynamics, generational patterns, and long-held beliefs may be influencing your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

My work is collaborative and incorporates mindfulness, somatic awareness, and deeper self-exploration. I value open conversations and believe that growth often comes from being willing to question familiar ways of thinking.

My goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, let go of beliefs that no longer serve you, and feel more confident creating a life that reflects who you truly are.

Get to know me beyond the therapy room

Outside of the therapy room, I’m usually spending time with my family, going for a walk, or finding some way to move my body. Whether it’s a workout, getting outside, or simply enjoying the little moments with the people I love, I believe in making time for the things that help us feel grounded, connected, and like ourselves.

My favorite way to recharge is…

Spending quality time with my family, going for a walk, or getting in a good workout. Moving my body and spending time with the people I love are two of my favorite ways to reset and recharge.

Something I wish more people knew about therapy is…

That therapy really isn’t as scary or intimidating as it might seem! You don’t have to be in crisis, have experienced something traumatic, or even have a specific problem to work through. Therapy can simply be a space to get to know yourself better, understand your patterns, navigate everyday challenges, and grow into the person you want to be. You don’t have to wait until things feel overwhelming to start.

If I could give everyone one piece of advice, it would be…

Listen to yourself and trust yourself. We spend so much time looking outside of ourselves for answers, reassurance, and validation that we sometimes forget how much we already know. Learning to tune into your own needs, feelings, and intuitionβ€”and trusting yourself enough to act on themβ€”is one of the most valuable things you can do for yourself
