What therapy with me actually looks like

My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences, emotions, and challenges without judgment.

I especially enjoy working with individuals who are struggling with self-esteem, navigating career changes, or learning how to establish healthier boundaries.

Whether you're questioning your professional direction, feeling uncertain about a major decision, or struggling to recognize your own strengths, we'll work together to better understand what's contributing to those feelings.

I draw from approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), strengths-based therapy, and psychodynamic techniques to help you develop greater self-awareness and healthier ways of coping.

My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, trust yourself more fully, and feel empowered to make choices that align with your needs and values.

Get to know me beyond the therapy room

Outside of the therapy room, I’m happiest spending time with my dog, making memories with family and friends, or discovering a new favorite restaurant. I also love those quiet moments to myself where I can slow down, recharge, and enjoy a little time just for me.

My favorite way to recharge is…

Spending time with my dog, family, and friends, trying new restaurants, and having some much-needed alone time to reset and recharge.

Something I wish more people knew about therapy is…

Therapy is one of the few spaces where you get to show up exactly as you are, without worrying about anyone else’s expectations or putting anyone else first. It’s a space where you get to focus on yourself, your needs, and what feels right for you.

If I could give everyone one piece of advice, it would be…

Stay true to yourself. Life is too short and it’s exhausting trying to be everything to everyone. You don’t have to change who you are to make other people comfortable or earn their approval. The more you learn to trust yourself, the more freedom you give yourself to live a life that actually feels like yours.
